Haven include (but are not limited to) the following:

Intervention (reduces
effects of the trauma)
- Hotline (provides 24-hour information and support)
- Safe
House/Shelter (meets
emergency needs resulting from victimization)
- Legal
Advocacy (guides clients
through the legal system)
- Personal
Advocacy (provides
services based on client’s needs)
- Information/Referral
(identifies local sources
of services and support)
- Therapy (assists recovery through individual, group
and family counseling)
- Follow-Up
(follows client’s progress
to determine continued services/support)
- Emergency
Assistance (utilizes
donations to meet client’s immediate needs)
- Medical
Assistance (assists with
doctor visits and needed medication)
